FLOTEC IS FULLY CHARGED!

Loughborough-based Flotec, a trusted and leading supplier of reliable hose and engineering solutions to the rail market, has enhanced its train fleet battery charging service.

At the beginning of 2021, Flotec announced expanding its product portfolio by introducing a range of trusted train fleet battery charging units to market. Now, the organisation has further expanded this service provision.

The Flotec Rail Division has established a stock holding facility of all necessary components to manufacture a series of new battery charging units to supersede the older Prepair models which are beyond repair.

This service supports both existing and new train fleets.

A dedicated workshop area has been set up within the companies manufacturing plant to offer an efficient and timely service for existing Prepair units which are repairable, using competitively priced OEM components.

To further support this package, Flotec has invested in additional transportation and an employee who has been tasked with providing a nationwide collection and delivery service for charger repairs to save clients from using costly carriers, where there is a risk of further damage to the product whilst in transit.
