THE 2022 FLOTEC REVIEW
2022 has proven to be yet another interstellar year for EOT Flotec.
Check out the 2022 review for a round-up of this years activity.
DISABILITY CONFIDENT COMMITTED
In February, Flotec’s head of marketing - Barry Michael Aldridge worked on an initiative to make the company an official disability confident and committed employer.
Barry speaks about the reasons as to why:
“Towards the end of 2020, I wrote the official corporate social responsibility document for the business which was published and went live in January last year.
Additionally, 2021 saw Flotec’s very own Chloe Lofthouse and Sophie Wright become St John Ambulance trained workplace mental well-being first aid responders.
Working towards the Government disability accreditation seemed to be a natural addition to all the good work already been done.
Having suffered a major flare up of eczema in 2020 and now suffering with mobility difficulties, the project was also a personal one.”
EMPLOYEE OWNED TACTICAL PLAN
Early in the year saw the Flotec team meet up on a Saturday morning to discuss tactical growth plans for the business.
With the official announcement of Flotec becoming employee owned in May of 2021, this year witnessed the team come together to solidify some numbers needed to make this transformation financially viable.
